Important Locations

Marmot Dam Site Location (finish line day 1):
Registration/Start Location Day 1 (Sandy/Salmon River Confluence)

7:00am – locked gate at Marmot Dam site opens.

7:30-8:30am- We encourage all participants to set shuttle BEFORE driving to the put in. This way your dry clothes will be at the take out at the end of the race/

8:00am- on site registration opens across from BLM forest road 14 and E. Barlow Rd. (walking distance from start).

8:45am- Organizers meeting- safety safety set up

9:30am- Registration Closes.

9:35am- Racers Meeting

10:00am- First racer starts (1 minute intervals- 7 mile downriver race class II-III+)

11:30-1:00pm- Lunch is served- (deli sandwiches, soup, and Gatorade)

1:00pm- awards (end of day 1 event)

Registration Location For Day 2:
Transition Area (boat / run) Finish line is at Pavilion “A”Each vehicle entering Oxbow Park must pay the $5 entry fee. (Cash, Credit only!) Please plan accordingly!

8:00am- On site registration opens- Dodge Park

8:45am- Organizers meeting- safety set up

9:30am- Registration closes

9:40am- Racers meeting

10:00am- First Racers starts biathalon (8 mile paddle- class I-II (III), 2.2 mile trail run in Oxbow*)

12:30-2:30pm- lunch is served- (Deli Sandwiches, Soup, Gatorade)

2:00pm- Biathalon course closes.

3:00pm- Exhibition SUP sprint race

4:00pm- awards, & raffle

*The Oxbow trail run has changed from what we did in 2011.  Check out the trail map here.

Registration specifics:

 

$25 / per competitor / day. Includes race bib, timing, insurance, lunch, clif bars and 1 ticket to the raffle. We will also have a portrait photographer on site to shoot ever participant at the finish line, and we will be giving away high res images for free to all participants who want them.

$10 student and Jr. discount for registration. Register online by Friday night and get 2 raffle tickets / registration. Must register individually by day online. This is a kayak, cataraft, & raft friendly event. Come out and support this event, and help raise money for the Sandy River Cleanup.

Additional raffle tickets $10. Raffles prizes to be announced soon!
